Burger Buns Done Right French Toast

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 package Dave’s Killer Bread Burger Buns Done Right® (8 buns) 

  • 5 eggs 

  • 1 ¾ cup whole milk 

  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract 

  • ½ tsp. cinnamon 

  • ¼ cup maple syrup, plus more to serve 

  • ¼ tsp. sea salt 

  • 3 Tbsp. butter 

  • 1 cup fresh berries, to serve  

Directions:

  1. Add eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, maple syrup, and sea salt to a large bowl. Whisk to combine. 

  2. Add butter to a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.  

  3. Separate burger buns and dip individually into milk mixture until completely soaked through, but not falling apart. Add burger buns to preheated non-stick skillet and cook 3-4 minutes, flip, and cook an additional 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.  

  4. Repeat with remainder of buns. 

  5. Serve French toast with butter, fresh berries, and maple syrup. Enjoy!
