Easy Holiday Spice Rock ‘N’ Cinnamon Rolls

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 package Dave’s Killer Bread Rock ‘N’ Rolls®

  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

  • 2/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1 ½ tsp. cinnamon

  • ½ tsp. nutmeg

  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves

  • ½ tsp. flaky sea salt, plus more to garnish if desired

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • ¼ cup whole milk or half and half

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Melt two tablespoons butter and pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Set aside.

  3. Carefully slice rolls in half. Place bottoms of rolls in greased baking dish.

  4. Prepare cinnamon filling: melt eight tablespoons of butter in a small bowl. Add in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves. Stir to combine.

  5. Pour half of the butter and cinnamon mixture onto the inside of rolls. Top with the tops of rolls and drizzle the remaining cinnamon and butter mixture on top.

  6. Sprinkle with flaky salt.

  7. Bake cinnamon rolls for 15 minutes.

  8. While cinnamon rolls bake, prepare frosting. Whip together cream cheese, remaining two tablespoons of butter, powdered sugar, and milk/half and half until smooth and creamy.

  9. Remove rolls from the oven and let cool slightly for 10-15 minutes before frosting.

  10. Pour frosting on top of rolls and use a spatula to frost until even.

  11. Serve cinnamon rolls immediately with an additional pinch of flaky salt, if desired. Enjoy!
