ham and swiss breakfast sandwich
INGREDIENTS:
4 slices thinly sliced deli ham
1 egg
¼ cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Dave’s Killer Bread Epic Everything® Bagel
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1-2 slices heirloom tomato
1/8 thinly sliced red onion
1 Tbsp. diced green onions or chives
Directions:
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add ham to skillet in a circular ring shape and crack egg into center. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese.
Cover skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and egg is set. Remove from skillet.
Add butter to skillet and let melt. Add bagel halves and toast for 2 minutes.
Spread bottom toasted bagel with Dijon mustard and top with cooked egg/ham, heirloom tomato slice, sliced red onion, and a sprinkle of chives or green onions. Top with toasted bagel half and enjoy immediately!
