ham and swiss breakfast sandwich

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 slices thinly sliced deli ham

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ cup shredded Swiss cheese

  • 1 Tbsp. butter

  • 1 Dave’s Killer Bread Epic Everything® Bagel

  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard

  • 1-2 slices heirloom tomato

  • 1/8 thinly sliced red onion

  • 1 Tbsp. diced green onions or chives

Directions:

  1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add ham to skillet in a circular ring shape and crack egg into center. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese.

  2. Cover skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and egg is set. Remove from skillet.

  3. Add butter to skillet and let melt. Add bagel halves and toast for 2 minutes.

  4. Spread bottom toasted bagel with Dijon mustard and top with cooked egg/ham, heirloom tomato slice, sliced red onion, and a sprinkle of chives or green onions. Top with toasted bagel half and enjoy immediately!
